If your system does not have a floppy drive you might wish to create a bootable CD/DVD or USB Device to boot into DOS environment and fix for troubleshooting or updating the BIOS.
There are a lot methods but in this article, I will show you the easiest way: Use HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool
Step1: Make your USB can boot first, CD second, HDD third
It's depend on your BIOS: Press F10 or Del or other
Step2: Download tool from this link: http://tinyurl.com/6zkczz. Open your Windows & Extract all files to a folder
Step3: Click to SP27213.exe & install it (HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool).
Step4: Run HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool > Select your device, File system (FAT32), Volume label (Less than 8 characters), Click to "Create a DOS disk" and select to folder that contain system files (Dos System Files) > Press START
Step5: Press OK to start format (lost data) > OK
You can copy other files from "Dos System Files" folder to have many other DOS utilities that are very useful: attrib, fdisk, Ghost ...
